Ogbourne St George is a village in the Kennet district of Wiltshire. It has its own website ogbournestgeorge.org.uk where full details of its history and day to life and events can be found.
About 300 people live in the village. There is a local school, Ogbourne Primary School which offers education to 5-11 years olds in villages of Ogbourne St. George, Ogbourne St. Andrew, Ogbourne Maizey and Rockley and outlying hamlets and farms.The village has its own pub. The Inn With The Well, it offers B&B accommodation as do some villagers.The Reverend Canon Roger Powell is incumbent of Anglican church of St George. The church dates back to the 13th Century and has a ring of five bells rung with an 18 hundred weight tenor tuned to E-flat.
